To ensure the highest level of security when using our website especially when purchasing online we use a secure server which uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, this ensures that your credit/debit card transaction and personal details are completely secure. This is shown by the ‘closed padlock’ symbol at the bottom of the browser window or the ‘s’ that appears after the http in the browser address bar. Each order is processed through a fraud checking system as well as authentication process before it is confirmed.
When you use our website, the secure server will encrypt all of the personal information you send us, including credit or debit card number and name and address. Encryption turns the information you enter into bits of code which are then securely transmitted to us over the Internet.
We advise that you do not send orders via email, as we cannot guarantee any secure transmission of details via this method. If you are still unsure about our secure online payment feel free to place your order by phone on 01269 591561 (9am-5pm Monday-Friday). We cannot be held liable if an event beyond our control results in loss to you.
When you place an order on the website and enter your name and details, you will become a recognised user, and we will send a cookie to your computer. They do not contain any personal information about you and cannot be used to identify an individual user.
They help us to recognise you when you visit the website. By using cookies, we can make your online experience more efficient. For example, they allow you to store your chosen items in your shopping basket, without losing them between visits, and to make the checkout process faster by having your card and delivery details ready to use.
You can choose not to accept cookies by changing the settings in your Internet Browser however this may cause some web pages not to function properly and may refuse you access to certain services.
By using the website you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or, if you are under 18, that you are accessing the website with the consent of your parent of guardian. We do not sell products to children, but we do sell children’s products for purchase by adults.
