David Michael Jewellers is a family run business based in South Wales UK. Trading since 1974, we currently have a store in Swansea, Neath and as of October 2020, we took over Ernest G Brooks Jewellers in Ammanford.
We take pride in offering our customers a traditional, welcoming atmosphere and offer a range of services in house which sets us apart from our competitors. Our stores are stocked with the highest quality of brands and products to cater for our ever-growing customer base.
Jewellery Repairs
All three stores have a resident goldsmith/ silversmith capable of doing the majority of work in house. Whether its solder work, stone setting/ replacement or ring resizing. This means that your piece of jewellery will not leave our premises and you are able to speak to the repairer in person (if so required).
Watch- Clock repairs
All watch and clock repairs are done by our horologist John, in our Ammanford store. We cater for all types of repair work from a service of a mechanical movement to the replacement of a cracked or smashed glass.
Custom Jewellery Design
Over the years we have noticed the increase in demand for custom Jewellery. We offer a 3d printing service where you can handle a prototype or the desired piece printed in resin. We will then cast in the metal of your choice to make something truly unique.
Jewellery Valuation Service
The best way to protect your jewellery in the event of loss or damage is to insure it - and this requires a valuation. To make sure you receive the correct sum in the event of a claim, you need a professional valuer to examine your jewellery and to produce a formal document giving a precise description of each piece and confirming how their value has been determined. It is essential that you discuss with your valuer how you would replace your items if they were to be lost as this is fundamental to the type of valuation produced.
